- Ripple pledged to match eligible XRP donations up to $10,000 through the America250 Giving 4th campaign.
- The fundraiser supports the Call of Duty Endowment’s CODE4Vets program, which helps veterans find civilian jobs.
- The initiative also expands the real-world use of XRP and RLUSD through charitable giving.
Ripple is putting XRP to work for a different purpose this Independence Day—not trading, not payments, but philanthropy.
As part of the nationwide America250 Giving 4th campaign, Ripple announced it will match eligible donations made in XRP, up to $10,000, helping raise funds for veterans transitioning into civilian careers. The campaign combines digital assets with charitable giving, giving crypto holders another practical way to use their tokens.
Rather than focusing on market prices or blockchain upgrades, Ripple’s latest initiative highlights how cryptocurrencies can play a role in social impact.

Ripple Backs Veteran Employment Through XRP Donations
The donation campaign is tied to the Call of Duty Endowment, specifically its CODE4Vets initiative, which works to connect military veterans with meaningful civilian employment after their service.
Anyone contributing through the campaign can donate using traditional payment methods such as cash or stock, but crypto is also accepted. Both XRP and Ripple USD (RLUSD) are listed among the supported digital assets, allowing donors to contribute directly without converting their holdings first.
Ripple said it will match eligible XRP donations dollar-for-dollar until the company’s contribution reaches the $10,000 cap.
It’s a relatively modest commitment financially, but one that draws attention to how blockchain technology can be integrated into charitable fundraising.
America250 Expands Independence Day Giving
The Giving 4th initiative was introduced by America250 in June as part of the country’s 250th Independence Day celebrations.
Instead of treating July 4 solely as a national holiday, the campaign encourages Americans to support nonprofit organizations across the country during a period when charitable donations often slow down.
According to organizers, many nonprofits experience weaker fundraising during the summer months, making mid-year campaigns especially valuable.
Ripple’s participation adds the crypto industry to that broader effort.

XRP and RLUSD Gain Another Real-World Use Case
Beyond supporting veterans, the campaign also showcases another practical application for digital assets.
For years, Ripple has promoted blockchain technology as a faster and more efficient way to move value. Charitable donations are becoming another area where that vision is taking shape, allowing crypto holders to contribute directly without relying on traditional banking rails.
The inclusion of RLUSD, Ripple’s stablecoin, alongside XRP also signals the company’s continued push to expand real-world blockchain adoption beyond payments and cross-border transfers.
While crypto represents only one of several donation methods available, it gives digital asset holders greater flexibility in how they choose to give.
Campaign Progress Depends on Community Participation
Ripple’s total matching contribution will ultimately depend on donor participation.
The company’s pledge remains capped at $10,000, meaning the full amount will only be reached if eligible donations match that figure. The fundraiser itself is working toward the same $10,000 target, with progress tracked publicly through the campaign page.
Meanwhile, the Call of Duty Endowment says it has already helped fund more than 165,000 veteran job placementsand aims to increase that figure to 200,000 by 2030.
For Ripple, the initiative serves two purposes at once: supporting a veteran-focused cause while continuing to demonstrate that digital assets like XRP can be useful far beyond the trading screen.
