About Soneium

Soneium is being introduced through a partnership with Astar Network. The testnet will offer built-in tools to help developers navigate regulations and create compliant applications.

Sony has been exploring Web3 technologies and sees potential in blockchain to bolster adoption. Soneium aims to reach many users by providing value through Web3 says Jun Watanabe, Chairman of Sony Block Solutions Labs.

Partnerships to Improve Capabilities

Soneium has partnered with leading Web3 companies including Optimism, Circle, Alchemy, The Graph, and Chainlink. These collaborations will improve capabilities across blockchain functionalities.

Sota Watanabe, Director of Sony Block Solutions Labs, says Sony has strong distribution and users. Through Soneium, they will make something people want beyond just Web3.
