Pharmacy Offers Ukrainians Option To Pay With Crypto Using Binance Pay
With the help of a partnership with Binance, one of the biggest drugstore chains in Ukraine, ANC Pharmacy has made all its locations accept bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It is one of the most important uses of bitcoin payments in Europe, with over a thousand retailers spread across the continent.
Customers of the ANC drugstore chain in Ukraine can now purchase goods and medications using a variety of cryptocurrencies. The new payment method is available as of Tuesday, according to the firm, which claims to be the first pharmacy chain in Europe to do so.

Binance, the world’s largest digital asset exchange by trading volume, built the payment system called Binance Pay, which will be used to handle coin transactions. It enables more than 70 digital currencies, including bitcoin, to be spent, sent, and received by users and businesses worldwide.
Customers need to download and install the Binance app, visit the ANC website, place an order, and pay for it using Binance Pay to use the service. After that, clients can pick up or get the items from any chain store.
Under its brand, ANC runs a network of pharmacies and unites numerous other Ukrainian chains, including Blagodiya, Kopiyka, and Shar@. With more than 7 million annual clients, it has stores in more than 130 Ukrainian cities. Initial access to crypto payments is in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.
Over the last few years, Ukraine has made a name for itself as the region’s leader in cryptocurrency adoption.
