- BAYC launched a peer-to-peer marketplace for members to trade collectibles and rare items
- Listings already include early ApeFest merch, artwork, and even ape-themed vehicles
- BAYC floor prices have climbed from roughly 5 ETH to over 10 ETH in the past month
Bored Ape Yacht Club has officially launched its own peer-to-peer marketplace, giving members a dedicated place to buy and sell apparel, collectibles, artwork, and rare community items directly through the BAYC website. The platform removes third-party marketplace dependence and focuses entirely on BAYC culture and member-driven trading.

Early listings already include original ApeFest merchandise like the “I Missed The Boat” hats, alongside signed collectibles, rare prints, and even ape-themed cars. The marketplace is clearly leaning into the community side of BAYC rather than simply functioning as another NFT trading hub.
BAYC Is Rebuilding Its Social Layer
The launch comes as BAYC floor prices have quietly doubled over the past month, climbing from around 5 ETH to above 10 ETH. That renewed momentum appears to be bringing attention back toward the broader ecosystem surrounding the collection.
Yuga Labs CEO Michael Figge previously emphasized that BAYC originally succeeded because of its strong social layer and community culture. The new marketplace seems designed to strengthen that identity by creating a place for members to trade physical and digital grails tied directly to the club’s history.

One early transaction already drew attention after a limited 1-of-100 “Glass Vase” reportedly sold for 15,000 APE tokens, signaling that demand for rare BAYC community items may already be building.
The Marketplace Launch Comes at the Right Time
The timing could end up being important for the BAYC ecosystem. NFT markets have started showing signs of renewed activity recently, and BAYC appears to be positioning itself around culture, exclusivity, and real-world community engagement rather than pure speculation alone.
For longtime holders, the new platform offers a dedicated space to trade the kinds of items that helped define the BAYC brand during its early rise. And with floor prices recovering, the broader community suddenly feels much more active again.
