- Strategy acquired another 334 BTC for approximately $28.7 million between Sept. 28 and Oct. 4 at an average price of $85,838.80 per bitcoin.
- The company now holds a record 848,000 BTC worth around $73 billion, representing more than 4% of Bitcoin’s maximum 21 million supply.
- Strategy also repurchased 1.77 million STRC preferred shares for approximately $176.3 million while ending Oct. 4 with a $4.88 billion USD Reserve and $833.4 million in USD Cash.
Strategy has added another 334 bitcoin to its corporate treasury, pushing its total holdings to a record 848,000 BTC.
The company purchased the bitcoin for approximately $28.7 million between Sept. 28 and Oct. 4, paying an average of $85,838.80 per BTC, according to its latest SEC filing.

Strategy has now spent approximately $64 billion acquiring its bitcoin holdings, including fees and expenses, at an average purchase price of $75,440.70 per BTC.
At current prices, the position is worth around $73 billion, implying approximately $9 billion in paper gains.
Strategy Holds More Than 4% of Bitcoin Supply
Strategy’s 848,000 BTC represents more than 4% of Bitcoin’s maximum supply of 21 million coins.
The company remains the largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder by a substantial margin.
Strategy funded its latest purchase through proceeds from its MSTR at-the-market offering program and its USD Cash holdings.
The company sold 92,894 MSTR shares last week, generating approximately $15.7 million. Another $13 million of the Bitcoin purchase was covered using USD Cash.
As of Oct. 4, Strategy still had approximately $18.8 billion of MSTR shares available for issuance and sale under the program.

Strategy Repurchases $176.3 Million of STRC
Strategy also repurchased 1.77 million STRC preferred shares for approximately $176.3 million during the week.
Of that amount, $154.1 million came from the company’s USD Cash reserve, while $22.2 million was funded through interest earned on cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments.
The company also used $142.5 million from its USD Reserve to fund preferred stock dividends and interest on outstanding debt.
As of Oct. 4, Strategy reported a USD Reserve balance of $4.88 billion and USD Cash holdings of $833.4 million.
Strategy Remains Largest Corporate Bitcoin Holder
Strategy continues to lead the growing corporate Bitcoin treasury sector.
According to Bitcoin Treasuries data, 196 public companies have now adopted some form of Bitcoin acquisition strategy.
Metaplanet holds 44,000 BTC, followed by Twenty One with 43,514 BTC, MARA with 35,577 BTC and Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company with 30,021 BTC.
Strategy remains far ahead with 848,000 BTC despite weakness in its stock. MSTR fell 7.1% last week to close Friday at $160.01.
The stock remains up 0.5% year-to-date following a substantial recovery but is still down 48% over the past year.
