Cornucopias: The Island Awaits is a metaverse game accessible through multiple platforms and created on Unreal Engine. They are trying to achieve Play-to-Earn, Built-to-Earn, and Learn-to-Earn. The project is built on the Cardano blockchain. It thus uses its native currency, $ADA, for most transactions and $COPI (Cornucopia’s utility token) that will be used for in-game transactions and the NFT marketplace.
Their metaverse is a network of floating bubbles and domes with diverse themes and characteristics.
You can buy their land plots on their official marketplace or on other platforms that sell Cardano NFTs, such as jpg.store. These land plots act as their main NFT, but other NFTs such as “Flying Vehicles” and “Character Clothing” are also available. There are mainly two “Flying Vehicles”; Bubblejet Sprinters and GTI Javelins. They were minted for free in February and March of 2022, before land plot NFTs. Players can store them in the garage of their personal “Home Bubbles .”This home bubble is an untradeable and free land plot every player gets when registering their account in-game. The core team consists of four co-founders; two CEOs, a COO, and CQO.

Josh Jones (CEO) has been an experienced startup entrepreneur for the last 25 years, specializing in building marketing teams and crafting a strategy to go to scale. Josh is the co-founder, and stake pool operator of Grow Your Stake.
Geoff Hewett (COO) co-founded a security software company that built the first-ever behavioral malware detection software and was later acquired by Symantec (Norton Antivirus). He is also the co-founder of Grow Your Stake staking pool on Cardano.
Anthony Renics (CQO) has been building businesses and testing software for 20 years in various industries. He is a highly experienced Quality Systems Analyst who previously worked for many large high street companies ensuring their in-store user front-facing systems. Ant was the co-founder of the company that built Agent Analyser and House Fusion, later sold to one of the largest real estate portals in the UK.
Not only is the team fully doxxed, but the founders are very active and regularly post tutorials, game previews, weekly progress updates, and other content on their YouTube channel. The first video was published eight months ago, in October 2021.
Because it’s built on top of Unreal Engine, graphics quality is noticeably better than with other NFT metaverse projects.
Their roadmap is incredibly robust, with detailed breakdowns of goals for every quarter, extending into 2023. So far, the team has delivered on all implementations they have set out to achieve, most on time, some with slight delays on rare occasions.
