- Withdrawals are scheduled to open at 11 a.m. UTC on Sept. 25, while Binance said it charged no listing fee for HYPE.
- Binance applied its Seed Tag to HYPE, requiring users to complete a risk quiz every 90 days to trade the token on Spot or Margin.
Binance is listing Hyperliquid’s HYPE token for spot trading, adding one of the crypto market’s closely watched altcoins to its platform.
Trading for HYPE will begin at 11 a.m. UTC on Sept. 24 against USDT, USDC and the Turkish lira.
Users can deposit HYPE ahead of trading, while withdrawals are scheduled to open at 11 a.m. UTC on Sept. 25.
Binance said there was no listing fee for the token.
HYPE moved modestly higher after the announcement, briefly gaining close to 1.9% before giving back part of the move.
Binance Adds Trading Bots and Copy Trading
Spot algorithmic orders will become available when HYPE trading begins.
Binance said trading bots and spot copy trading will then be enabled for the token within 24 hours of the spot market launch.
Access to the HYPE/TRY trading pair is limited to users with verified Binance TR accounts.
The new trading pairs are also unavailable to residents of several restricted jurisdictions, including the United States, Canada and the Netherlands.
Binance Adds Seed Tag to HYPE
Binance is listing HYPE with its Seed Tag, which the exchange applies to projects it considers more volatile and potentially higher risk than other listed tokens.
“HYPE is a relatively new token that poses a higher than normal risk, and will likely be subject to high price volatility,” Binance said.
The designation creates additional requirements for users who want to trade the token.
Users must pass a risk awareness quiz every 90 days to maintain access to HYPE trading through Binance Spot or Margin.
Binance also advised traders to use appropriate risk management and understand the project before trading the token.
HYPE Rises Following Binance Announcement
HYPE reacted positively immediately after Binance published the listing notice.
TradingView data for HYPE/USD on Coinbase showed the token gaining approximately 1.5% within 10 minutes of the announcement.
The move briefly reached nearly 1.9% before some of those gains were reversed.
Despite the listing-driven move, HYPE remained down nearly 3% over the previous 24 hours amid broader weakness across the crypto market.
The Binance listing expands HYPE’s availability on centralized exchanges while adding USDT, USDC and TRY spot markets for the token.
