- Strategy acquired another 1,665 BTC for approximately $142.7 million at an average price of $85,681 per bitcoin between Sept. 21 and Sept. 27.
- The company now holds 847,666 BTC, worth around $70.6 billion, representing more than 4% of Bitcoin’s maximum 21 million supply.
- Strategy also repurchased approximately $151.7 million of STRC preferred shares, while its USD Reserve and USD Cash stood at $5.02 billion and $1 billion, respectively.
Strategy has added another 1,665 bitcoin to its corporate treasury, spending approximately $142.7 million on its latest acquisition.
The Michael Saylor-led company purchased the bitcoin between Sept. 21 and Sept. 27 at an average price of $85,681 per BTC.

Following the purchase, Strategy holds a total of 847,666 BTC acquired for approximately $64 billion, including fees and expenses. Its overall average purchase price stands at $75,437 per bitcoin.
At current prices, the holdings are worth around $70.6 billion, implying approximately $6.6 billion in unrealized gains.
Strategy Now Holds More Than 4% of Bitcoin Supply
Strategy’s 847,666 BTC position represents more than 4% of Bitcoin’s maximum supply of 21 million coins.
The latest bitcoin purchases were funded through proceeds from Strategy’s at-the-market sale of its Class A common stock.
Strategy sold 1,469,165 MSTR shares last week for approximately $246.2 million.
As of Sept. 27, another $18.84 billion of MSTR shares remained available for issuance and sale under the program.
Strategy continues to hold the largest bitcoin treasury among publicly traded companies.
Other major corporate holders include Twenty One with 43,514 BTC, Metaplanet with 43,000 BTC, MARA with 35,577 BTC and Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company with 30,021 BTC.

Strategy Repurchases $151.7 Million of STRC
Alongside its bitcoin purchase, Strategy repurchased 1,534,530 STRC preferred shares for approximately $151.7 million.
The purchases were funded using $103.5 million from MSTR sales and $48.1 million from the company’s USD Cash reserve.
Strategy also used $22.1 million from its USD Reserve to pay preferred stock dividends during the same period.
As of Sept. 27, Strategy reported a USD Reserve balance of $5.02 billion and USD Cash of $1 billion.
The company has also proposed moving its STRC, STRD, STRF and STRK preferred stocks to daily dividend payments, subject to a shareholder vote scheduled for Oct. 28.
MSTR Shares Gain 16% in One Week
Strategy shares gained 16.1% last week and closed Friday at $158.61.
MSTR is now up 2.6% year-to-date following its recent recovery, although the stock remains 65% lower over the past year.
Bitcoin gained 3.6% during the same week.
Saylor had signaled another potential bitcoin purchase on Sunday by posting Strategy’s acquisition tracker with the caption “A little more orange.”
Strategy’s latest purchase extends its position as the largest corporate bitcoin holder as more public companies adopt bitcoin treasury strategies.
