Japanese enterprise Loyalty Marketing is teaming up with blockchain services provider PlayThink to migrate its popular loyalty rewards program, “Ponta,” onto Avalanche.

This strategic move will leverage Avalanche’s Subnet infrastructure to deliver Web3 services to Loyalty Marketing’s vast user base. The migration will enable mass-scale issuance and distribution of digital assets.
PlayThink and Loyalty Marketing opted for Avalanche’s Subnet infrastructure due to its EVM compatibility. With this integration on Avalanche, PlayThink, and Loyalty Marketing, Subnet users can anticipate near-instant transaction finality and an isolated infrastructure environment.
The Ponta Subnet, upon its launch, will operate under a consortium model, with PlayThink and Loyalty Marketing acting as the primary validators for the Subnet’s activities. The partners have enlisted Ava Labs, through its AvaCloud services division, to facilitate the Subnet’s launch. This move represents an effort to provide a seamless onboarding experience conducive to mass adoption.
