CometBFT Light Block Validation (BEP-221)
BEP-221 introduces CometBFT Light Block Validation, a system designed to enhance interoperability and data transfer between blockchains using CometBFT technology.
The proposal suggests adding a new contract to blockchains utilizing CometBFT, allowing verification of specific blocks from other compatible blockchains. This feature enables seamless data transfer between blockchains, including the data storage-focused BNB Greenfield protocol and the BNB Chain itself.
