  • Strive acquired another 1,107 BTC between Sept. 21 and Sept. 25 at an average price of approximately $85,396 per Bitcoin.
  • The purchase increased Strive’s total holdings to 27,462 BTC as of Sept. 28, while cash and cash equivalents also rose to $248.8 million.
  • Most of the capital raised during the period came from SATA preferred stock, with warrant exercises contributing another $12.4 million.

Strive has expanded its Bitcoin treasury again, purchasing another 1,107 BTC and pushing its total holdings above 27,000 coins.

The company disclosed the acquisition in a Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Sept. 28.

Strive bought the Bitcoin between Sept. 21 and Sept. 25 at an average price of approximately $85,396 per BTC, including fees and expenses.

The latest purchase increased the company’s total holdings to 27,462 BTC.

Strive Cash Balance Also Increases

Despite the Bitcoin purchase, Strive’s cash and cash equivalents increased during the period. The company reported $248.8 million in cash as of Sept. 25, up from $229.6 million on Sept. 18.

That represents an increase of approximately $19.2 million.

Strive also continued holding 505,000 shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock, valued at approximately $49.8 million. Class A common shares outstanding increased by 649,072 to 88,453,685, while Class B shares remained unchanged at 9,198,036.

SATA Remains Strive’s Main Financing Tool

CEO Matt Cole said warrant exercises generated approximately $12.4 million during the period.

Including those proceeds, Cole said around 85% of total capital raised came from SATA, Strive’s Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock.

SATA shares outstanding increased by 1,009,020 during the week, rising from 11,184,160 to 12,193,180.

The preferred stock is designed to pay cash dividends on business days and remains one of Strive’s main tools for raising capital without relying on traditional bank debt.

Strive has used a similar financing model for several recent Bitcoin purchases, including its 1,800 BTC acquisition in late August, its 1,375 BTC buy earlier in September and the 469 BTC purchase that took its treasury to 25,000 BTC.

Strive Continues Bitcoin Treasury Strategy

The latest filing does not change Strive’s stated strategy.

The company continues to focus on accumulating Bitcoin, increasing Bitcoin per share and using BTC as the hurdle rate for capital deployment.

Strive says preferred equity, rather than traditional debt, is the primary tool it uses to amplify its Bitcoin exposure.

The company has also previously said it carries no traditional debt against its Bitcoin holdings.

Strive’s latest disclosure shows another week of open-market accumulation while maintaining a rising cash balance and continuing to rely heavily on SATA issuance and warrant exercises to fund growth.
