- Strategy raised more than $2 billion by selling roughly 18 million MSTR shares between Aug. 17 and Aug. 23.
- The company made no new Bitcoin purchases, leaving its holdings unchanged at 840,447 BTC.
- Strategy now holds approximately $6.69 billion in combined USD Cash and USD Reserve liquidity.
Strategy raised more than $2 billion through its MSTR at-the-market offering last week but kept its massive Bitcoin position unchanged.
The company sold approximately 18 million MSTR shares, leaving nearly 20 million shares available for future issuance and sale as of Aug. 23.

Strategy Builds Its Dollar Reserves
Of the proceeds raised, $300 million was allocated to Strategy’s USD Reserve, while another $136.4 million funded repurchases of STRC preferred shares.
Strategy repurchased approximately 1.43 million STRC shares during the week. The company still has $516.6 million available for additional preferred-stock repurchases and $1 billion authorized under its MSTR repurchase program.
The remaining proceeds were placed into a newly created USD Cash pool.
Bitcoin Holdings Remain at 840,447 BTC
Despite raising billions of dollars, Strategy did not add to its Bitcoin holdings during the period.
Its treasury remains at 840,447 BTC, marking another week in which the company prioritized liquidity and capital management rather than additional Bitcoin purchases.

Strategy reported approximately $1.59 billion in USD Cash and $5.1 billion in its USD Reserve as of Aug. 23, giving it combined dollar liquidity of roughly $6.69 billion.
Strategy Gains More Flexibility
The new USD Cash pool is part of Strategy’s Digital Credit Capital Framework and gives management greater flexibility over how it deploys capital.
The funds can potentially be used for future Bitcoin purchases, dividends, interest payments, share repurchases, convertible-note repayments and other treasury purposes.
With $6.69 billion in dollar liquidity and its Bitcoin holdings unchanged, investors will be watching whether Strategy eventually redirects some of that cash toward another major BTC purchase.
