During their ongoing Otherside playtest tour, the Yuga team recently organized an event in Berlin. A focus group consisting of 40 Meebits and voyagers had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the experiences offered within the Otherside metaverse.
During the event, the Otherside team presented the latest concept art. It introduced the public to the freshly reconstructed Meebit avatars, meticulously designed trait by trait, and now ready for utilization within the Otherside realm.

Subsequently, attendees witnessed the inaugural steps of these Meebit avatars as they navigated through the expansive Otherside metaverse. Notably, they were also introduced to Meetropolis, an island-like enclave within this metaverse.
In an interactive session, the community shared valuable feedback, providing insights for further refinement. Following this, attendees had the opportunity to unwind and enjoy a selection of meebits-inspired food and beverages. With this successful event concluded, the Yuga team is now set to continue their tour, with the next stop being Hong Kong.
Continued Efforts Show Commitment to Collective Development
Fostering collaboration within the virtual realm is a fantastic strategy. This initiative transforms the Otherside into a true group endeavor as diverse projects converge to shape its landscape. With an impressive count of approximately 8,000 Meebits and likely numerous projects in the pipeline, these contributions are pivotal in populating the expansive virtual space.
Moreover, engaging other groups in this developmental endeavor not only eases the burden on the Yuga Team but also cultivates an atmosphere conducive to innovation. Integrating varied perspectives and talents on a unified platform paves the way for an extensive collaboration that could redefine the virtual landscape.”
