- HV-MTL will host its first community Assembly inside the Otherside metaverse
- Owner Adam Weitsman is taking a more active role following leadership changes
- New Project Lead Aventurine brings experience from the Art Blocks ecosystem
HV-MTL is entering a new phase as the project prepares to host its first-ever community Assembly inside the Otherside metaverse. The event will feature owner Adam Weitsman alongside newly appointed Project Lead Aventurine, marking the beginning of a broader leadership reset for the Yuga Labs-linked NFT project.

The shift follows the departure of co-owner Gabe, who recently stepped away from the project to focus on family and other ventures. In response, Weitsman confirmed he plans to take a far more active day-to-day role while working closely with Yuga Labs to position HV-MTL deeper inside the Otherside ecosystem.
New Leadership Brings Fresh Momentum
Aventurine’s arrival has drawn attention across Web3 communities due to previous work with Art Blocks, one of the most respected names in generative NFT art. The combination of an experienced builder alongside a heavily invested owner is giving some collectors renewed confidence around HV-MTL’s future direction.
Weitsman has also made it clear that his commitment extends well beyond a short-term investment. Earlier this year, he acquired more than 5,000 Otherdeeds, Mega Kodas, and Weapon Kodas directly from Yuga Labs in a large multi-year deal designed around long-term alignment with Otherside.
Otherside Is Becoming the Main Focus
According to Weitsman, he has already received a private look inside Otherside and believes the metaverse platform is far more advanced than many currently realize. His comments have fueled speculation that HV-MTL could become more integrated into Yuga Labs’ broader metaverse strategy moving forward.

Hosting the first Assembly directly inside Otherside also signals a stronger focus on community engagement within the metaverse itself rather than relying purely on Discord or social media communication. Both Weitsman and Aventurine are expected to answer questions live during the event.
HV-MTL Enters a New Chapter
HV-MTL has already gone through several major transitions since its original launch under Yuga Labs, including periods under Faraway Games before eventually landing under Weitsman’s ownership structure. Each phase brought uncertainty around the project’s long-term identity and roadmap.
This latest transition feels more structured, with clearer leadership, stronger ties to Otherside, and increased focus on building community participation directly inside the metaverse ecosystem itself.
