– Owners of Donald Trump’s “Mugshot Edition” NFTs have had their bonus Bitcoin Ordinals inscribed
– Buyers of 100 Trump NFTs were eligible for a one-of-one Trump Bitcoin Ordinal
– The Ordinals were inscribed using “parent-child on alpha rare Satoshis” according to NFT INT LLC
Donald Trump’s company behind his NFT collections has inscribed Bitcoin Ordinals for buyers of his Mugshot Edition NFTs.
Ordinals Inscribed on Bitcoin Blockchain
The company announced that buyers of the Mugshot Edition NFTs who were eligible have had their Trump Bitcoin Ordinals inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain forever.
The company said, “We announced that certain buyers of the Mugshot Edition would be eligible for a one-of-one Trump Bitcoin Ordinal as part of their purchase. We are pleased to announce they are officially inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain forever.”
Buying Requirements for Bitcoin Ordinal
The company launched the Mugshot Edition NFTs late last year. They announced that anyone who bought 47 NFTs in a single transaction would get both dinner with Trump and a physical trading card with a piece of the suit he wore for his famous mugshot.
Additionally, anyone who purchased 100 Trump NFTs was eligible for the Bitcoin Ordinal.
Ordinal Inscription Method
For Ordinal fans, all Trump inscriptions are inscribed using parent-child on alpha rare Satoshis, the first satoshi of every Bitcoin NFT, the company said.
The Mugshot Edition is one of multiple NFT collections launched using Trump’s likeness. After initial hype, interest in the collections has cooled down.
Company’s Relationship to Trump
The company behind the NFTs says on its website that it is not owned, managed or controlled by Donald Trump, The Trump Organization, or any of their affiliates.
Instead, they use Trump’s likeness under a paid license
