Preorders open at 5am Pacific/8am Eastern time on January 19. The headset itself will launch on February 2.

The Vision Pro also comes with two band options, a case, cleaning cloth, cables, and more. Apple is clearly aiming to provide a complete high-end experience straight out of the box.

Apple touted the Vision Pro’s ability to deliver immersive experiences, ranging from virtual tourism of real-world locations to spatial computing apps and games.

Environments will let users explore photorealistic environments like national parks and even the surface of the moon. Spatial games will take advantage of the headset’s capabilities for unique gameplay.

This launch kicks off the era of spatial computing and augmented/virtual reality for Apple. The technology looks poised to revolutionize the way we interact with devices.
