Visa and Coinbase have announced a partnership to enable real-time deposits and withdrawals for Coinbase users with eligible Visa debit cards. This new feature, available to customers in the United States and European Union, will allow instant account funding and cash-out services directly from Coinbase to linked bank accounts, depending on the bank and region.
Yanilsa Gonzalez Ore, Visa Direct’s head for North America, emphasized that this partnership provides Coinbase users with uninterrupted trading opportunities, making funds accessible at any time. The arrangement builds on Visa’s existing support for Coinbase, which includes powering Coinbase’s crypto debit card, allowing users to spend crypto through Visa’s network.
