- Unstoppable Domains is launching Unstoppable Messaging, a platform for sending encrypted messages from Polygon-based domains.
- The messaging service aims to help Web3 projects build their communities and foster Web3 identity while ensuring privacy for sensitive discussions.
- Unstoppable Messaging is to launch by the end of 2023.
On Wednesday, unstoppable Domains, the web3 domain provider, announced that it would release Unstoppable Messaging. This platform will allow users to send encrypted messages to each other from their Polygon-based domains.
Unstoppable Messaging aims to help users carry their digital Identity across their Web3 experiences by assisting Web3 projects in curating and building their communities. Holders can send peer-to-peer messages to one another using domain endings such as .polygon, .nft, or .x.
Unstoppable domain’s Chief operating officer and head of business development, Sandy Carter, stated that the company’s latest messaging service is another step in its mission of fostering Web3 Identity and bringing builders together through a Web3 native communication tool that also ensures privacy, a critical feature for sensitive discussions as projects develop.
According to Carter, “Messaging for me is so powerful because I came from Amazon Web Services where we always work backward from the customer. This product offering was driven entirely by our partners, Polygon being one of them, enabling them to do the messaging they wanted.
Sanket Shah, Polygon Labs’ vice president of growth, is also excited about bringing messaging to Polygon-based projects and communities.
According to Shah, in a press release, “Identity is at the center of every community. In the Polygon community, .polygon domains provide that digital Identity.”
“We’re thrilled that the Polygon community will gain a Web3 solution for connecting with others using only their .polygon domains with Unstoppable Messaging.”
Unstoppable Domains has been releasing new features and forming partnerships to assist Web3 users in developing their identities. Unstoppable partnered with crypto browser Opera in February to support its Polygon-based domains. Unstoppable domains partnered with Polygon last week to launch .polygon domain endings.
Unstoppable Messaging is set to launch at the end of 2023.
