  • 360noscope420blazeit ($MLG) is a Solana meme coin that pays homage to the golden age of Call of Duty gaming, skyrocketing by 5,200% in just six days.
  • The project gained massive traction when FaZe Clan’s co-founder FaZe Banks got involved, leading to a market cap surge to $164 million.
  • $MLG has carved a unique niche by blending nostalgia, community, and memes, showing that crypto and gaming can coexist when done right.

Remember rushing home from school to grind Call of Duty all night with your friends on Xbox Live, a bag of Doritos at your side, and a stream of smack talk flying over the mic? Those vibes are back, but this time, they’re tokenized. Meet 360noscope420blazeit ($MLG), a Solana meme coin that’s taken the nostalgia of old-school gaming and turned it into a wild crypto phenomenon—skyrocketing by 5,200% in just six days.

What Exactly is 360noscope420blazeit?

Launched in April, $MLG is a tribute to the prime years of Call of Duty, before the chaos of modern “omnimovement” mechanics, convoluted killstreaks, and microtransactions. Think back to the days when Modern Warfare 2 trick shots, Nazi Zombies in World at War, and Search and Destroy lobbies ruled your evenings. The coin’s quirky name combines the legendary “360 no scope” trick shot with the classic 420 blaze it meme, giving it a nostalgic yet cheeky flair.

The token’s ticker, MLG, is a nod to Major League Gaming, the organization that was once at the heart of the Call of Duty esports scene. It even borrows MLG’s original logo—probably without asking for permission.

The Call of Duty Clan That Started it All

This isn’t just another meme coin with no real purpose. The $MLG team, or as they call themselves, the “clan leaders,” have built a community around the project by launching custom Call of Duty servers decked out with MLG-themed texture packs. These servers bring back the magic of games like Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops 2, and the remastered Modern Warfare 2, with more classics like World at War and Ghosts on the way.

“People are frustrated with how modern games are handled,” said Munnopoly, one of the clan leaders. “We’re bringing back the golden age of gaming and breaking down barriers along the way.”

FaZe Banks and the $MLG Explosion

The project gained even more traction when FaZe Clan’s co-founder, Richard “FaZe Banks” Bengtson, jumped on board. After FaZe rebranded with a glitchy digital camo look, $MLG updated its server textures to include the new FaZe camo, catching Banks’ attention.

He bought 50 SOL worth of $MLG (about $9,700) and started hyping the project on social media. The result? The token shot up 275% in one day, hitting a market cap of $11 million. And the hype didn’t stop there.

MLG Memes and Market Madness

With every meme and texture update, $MLG’s market cap continued climbing. Banks even challenged crypto influencer Jakey to a one-on-one match on the infamous Rust map in Modern Warfare 2, promising to play for 100 SOL if the token reached a $69 million market cap. Spoiler: it did, and then some.

By January 7, the market cap soared to $164 million. Banks kept his word and got an MLG tattoo to commemorate the token’s success.

The Nostalgia-Powered Future of Crypto Gaming

“Gaming and crypto have always been alike, especially when it comes to community and culture,” said Jakey, an $MLG investor. “Gaming used to be seen as nerdy until the internet flipped the script, and crypto’s heading the same way.”

While mainstream game developers like Ubisoft have faced backlash for dipping into blockchain tech, $MLG shows that there’s another way forward. By leaning into nostalgia and embracing the internet’s love for memes, this project has carved out a unique niche in both the gaming and crypto worlds.

Final Thoughts

The rise of $MLG proves that crypto and gaming can coexist—when done right. It’s a blend of nostalgia, community, and memes that has managed to capture the hearts of gamers and traders alike. Whether it’s through trick shots or market pumps, $MLG is bringing back the golden days of Call of Duty and showing that the right vibes can go a long way in the world of crypto.
