AnchorWatch Trust Company has officially launched its Bitcoin custody services after receiving authorization from the Nevada Financial Institutions Division.
The company is offering qualified Bitcoin custody to fiduciaries, publicly traded companies, trusts and high-net-worth individuals seeking secure storage solutions.

Unlike traditional custody providers that charge fees based on a percentage of assets held, AnchorWatch uses a fixed-dollar pricing model with a maximum monthly custody charge of $10,000.
The company also offers optional insurance coverage of up to $370 million per client, subject to underwriting approval.
AnchorWatch Introduces Fixed Bitcoin Custody Fees
AnchorWatch’s pricing structure is designed to provide predictable custody expenses for clients holding substantial Bitcoin reserves.
Rather than charging a percentage of assets under custody, the company calculates fees based on vault size.
Once a client’s monthly custody fee reaches $10,000, additional Bitcoin purchases or increases in the market value of existing holdings will not raise the charge.
The approach could appeal to corporate Bitcoin treasury companies and institutional investors seeking to accumulate Bitcoin without increasing their custody expenses proportionally.
For example, a company holding a large Bitcoin treasury could continue expanding its reserves while maintaining the same maximum monthly custody fee.

AnchorWatch Offers Two Bitcoin Custody Models
AnchorWatch provides two custody arrangements designed to accommodate different security and governance requirements.
Under its primary model, AnchorWatch holds the cryptographic keys required for qualified custody, while clients, trustees or company executives may retain additional keys.
The structure allows multiple parties to participate in controlling access to Bitcoin holdings.
Its second custody model distributes key control among three independent providers.
These include AnchorWatch Trust Company, U.S.-based BitGo and CoinCorner, which operates from the Isle of Man.
The distributed arrangement is intended to provide an alternative for clients seeking custody infrastructure involving multiple organizations.
Bitcoin Insurance Coverage Reaches $370 Million
AnchorWatch also offers optional insurance backed by A+ rated Lloyd’s of London syndicates.
The company said it has authority to arrange policies with coverage limits of up to $370 million per client, subject to underwriting approval.
Policies are issued directly in the name of the customer or legal entity holding the Bitcoin.
Coverage may include losses resulting from violent coercion, kidnapping and certain fraudulent actions committed by AnchorWatch that lead to Bitcoin losses.
However, protection depends on individual policy terms, underwriting approval, coverage limits and applicable exclusions.
The launch comes as Bitcoin custody remains an important consideration for institutions and companies holding significant cryptocurrency reserves.
AnchorWatch’s combination of capped custody fees, multiple key-management options and optional insurance introduces another alternative for investors seeking regulated Bitcoin storage services.
