Rainmaker Games debuted the world’s first discovery platform for blockchain games, which allows users to access and review numerous P2E games with just one source of gaming data.
“We’re a gaming community first and foremost. We are very concerned with the user experience since they are who is entering this space; that is where the next 100 million blockchain users will come from,” CEO and co-founder Will Deane said during an interview with ZDNet. “We’re not about building casinos in Australia. That’s the use case we see for the technology. We want to bring games to people that they can play and have fun with.”
A New Way to Find Games
Rainmaker, according to Deane, is comparable to Netflix in the gaming sector. Rainmaker will provide a single-site resource for finding and playing games, with ratings, daily earnings, reviews, and feature write-ups similar to Netflix.
In addition, Twitch’s social media activity as well as Reddit and Twitter posts will be integrated directly into gamepages to give users an idea of the game’s popularity.
“It really is a way for players to discover new games that they would never have found before,” Deane said. “The great thing about this space is there are so many developers out there making awesome games, but they don’t have the marketing power of a big studio behind them. We want to be that platform where they can get their games in front of players.”
Rainmaker’s platform will provide players with peace of mind by assuring them that the games listed on Rainmaker are genuine and community-approved, according to the firm’s announcement. The Discovery Platform from Rainmaker will feature more than one hundred fifty titles at launch and add five to ten new games each week.
A Constantly Evolving Community
Deane said that the gaming organization will review each game, play it, acquire assets, devote time to it, and publish reviews.
Over time, Rainmaker’s platform will become more of a community with each player having their own profile. Players can synchronize their games in progress in order to compare their achievements against those of other players while attempting to dethrone the current top player in each game.
As the gaming community grows on Rainmaker, the firm will eventually add game-specific exclusive forums in order to keep the gaming conversations organized, according to Deane. The company is also investigating ways to allow players to wager on their games in a safe and secure manner
