As stated on the program’s website, the program aims to stimulate originality and innovation while providing a “creative pathway” for digital artists to connect with the brand and collector community.
According to the company, this will be a unique opportunity to exhibit artists while allowing them to collaborate in both the digital and physical realms.
The company unveiled Moto (aka MonkeeMoto) from Tokyo and Adra Kandil (aka DearNostalgia) from Lebanon as the first two “hand-selected” resident artists of the program.

This is not Adidas’ first attempt at NFT. It released its NFT collection “Into the Metaverse” in December 2021, with 30,000 pieces, in collaboration with Yuga Labs, Punks Comic, and Gmoney, a pseudonymous NFT influencer.
This proved to be a driving force, encouraging the organization to continue establishing its brand in Web3.
The company launched a new NFT project called ALTS in April 2023. It allowed “Into the Metaverse” holders to exchange their original NFTs for new Adidas profile photographs (PFP) associated with the narrative promotion.
In August, Adidas Originals and BAPE introduced “the highly limited Forum 84 BAPE Low Triple-White sneaker.” The limited number of trainers were auctioned off and matched with an NFT version, with support from the Adidas /// Studio (Three Stripes Studio) and in collaboration with the crypto payments infrastructure provider Moonpay.
