Hex Trust’s Europe Expansion Plans Progresses After DASP Registration in France
Hex Trust, a Hong Kong-based digital asset custodian, has registered in France.
The company’s registration was made by France’s Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) and Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR), the financial regulators of France. Hex Trust’s registration in Frace as a digital asset custodian is part of its success as it expands to other European areas.
Last year, the digital asset custodian registered its services in Italy under the auspices of Italy’s Organismo Agenti e Mediatori (OAM).
Hex Trust, a digital asset custodian licensed across several finance-driven countries, has obtained the Digital Asset Provider (DASP) registration in France.
The Hong-Kong based company now possesses the authority to be a custodian of digital assets, and also to sell and trade digital assets in France.
The DASP registration is a remarkable achievement in Hex Trust’s grand expansion plan.
The CEO and Co-Founder of Hex Trust, Alessio Quaglini, said,
“Receiving the DASP registration from a major EU Regulator is an important vote of confidence and demonstrates our commitment to Hex Trust’s ongoing expansion in Europe. The EU is a key market for Hex Trust, as we see strong growth potential and prepare for the European MiCA regulation, set up to regulate the digital asset industry in the region by 2024.”
France to Become the Foremost Financial Hub in Europe
Financial platforms and crypto firms across Europe are acquiring licenses and registration to prepare for the new European MiCA’s regulation of 2024.
One of France’s largest banks recently acquired a top license to trade digital assets in France.
According to Hex Trust’s CEO, registering as a Digital Asset Provider in France is a key part of the company’s preparation for incoming regulations in Europe.
Unlike the United States, Europe has proven countless times to be a crypto-friendly hub. France has begun to establish itself as a progressive state by hosting crypto conferences and providing regulations that manage digital assets in the state. France’s financial regulators provide a less complex approach to registrations, and the tax deduction on assets has led France to become Europe’s foremost financial hub.
The country’s inviting approach to financial platforms has encouraged the presence of several digital asset providers in France.
